Monday. May 14th - Completed notes on mutations.  Started Chapter 18 (human and genetic disorders).  Watched next clip in “Cracking the Code of Life” video.  Homework:  TERM PROJECTS!!

Friday, May 11th – Worksheet on protein synthesis.  Started notes on mutations.  Completed protein synthesis lab.

Thursday, May 10th – Reviewed translation, completed dna review sheet, watched next section in cracking the code of life video.

Wednesday, May 9th – RNA worksheet, notes on DNA translation, DNA review sheet, watched next chapter in “Cracking the Code of Life” video. Homework: work on term project!
Tuesday, May 8th – Corrected DNA worksheet and text questions pg. 588.  Notes on mRNA, tRNA, and rRNA as well as transcription.  Homework: work on term project!

Monday, May 7th – DNA Replication lab.

Thursday, May 3rd – Notes on DNA replication (section 17-3). Finished DNA worksheet & # 2,4, 9, pg. 588. (these are due for Tuesday, May 8th)

Wednesday, May 2nd – DNA structure lab.

Tuesday, May 1st – Gave back and went over genetics tests.  Reviewed DNA scientist timeline from yesterday’s class.  Completed DNA worksheet and pg. 572 #2, 3, 5.

Monday, April 30th – Started DNA (chapter 17); notes on structure of DNA and completed DNA historical timeline of discoveries.

Thursday, April 26th - Genetics & section 15.3 test

Wednesday, April 25th – Corrected yesterday’s worksheet.  Started genetics problem set 2, reviewed for tomorrow’s test.

Tuesday, April 24th -  Finished genetics notes (section 16-3).  Corrected pg. 535, #1-8, worked on genetics practice problems.

Friday, April 20th – Library research day for term projects

Thursday, April 19th – Corrected hydra lab questions, notes on incomplete dominance, codominace, and multiple alleles.  Corrected genetics worksheet.  Finish pg. 535 #1-8 for Monday’s class.

Wednesday, April 18th – Corrected spongebob worksheet, went over dihybrid crosses.  Completed worksheet on monohybrid crosses and started pg. 535 #1-8.

Tuesday, April 17th – Embryology microscope lab (lab due Friday, April 20th).

Monday, April 16th - Corrected embryology review sheet.  Started notes on genetics (section 16.1).  Homework: Finish Spongebob worksheet for Wednesday.

Friday, April 13th -  Completed planaria & hydra labs – these are due on Thursday, April 19th. Homework: finish yesterday’s worksheet.

Thursday, April 12th- Finished notes on chapter 15 (gastrulation, germ layers, extra-embryonic membranes).  Worksheet on section 15.3
